Bag’s Take-Away:

Another interesting pic from the latest White House Flickr batch. Call it:  Australia waiting in the wings. Three days before Obama announced that American troops would be stationed in Australia, we get this picture from the APEC summit in Honolulu. It’s a nice shot simply for the fact that Australia’s President  Prime Minister Gillard is incidental to the two leaders in the foreground, and wasn’t mentioned in the caption.  (Beware the “boy’s club” accusations.) I also wonder if Hu knew about the upcoming announcement at this point. And then, how rare is it to see Obama with a closed fist?
