The stainless steel and aluminum sculpture which stands 26 feet tall and weighs 34,000 pound will remain on display in Chicago through the spring of 2012.

Sure, you can go a thousand ways with this. Perhaps one thing it captures, though, in this manic/”ADD” culture of ours, is an obsession with the future and the past, as if — short of a mashup — it’s impossible to be in “the now.”
