Bag’s Take-Away:

This scary, floating, transparent head is the first and last reference to George Bush you’ll see this election season, guaranteed - based on a “one off” wire photo capturing Dubya’s reflection in a framed picture at RNC HQ. Of course, no one’s willing to say it out loud (at least on the GOP side), but the man’s a pariah.

Photogs wrestling with Perry, #2.

And then, from Getty’s Scott Olson, there’s always Perry (a retort to The Big Hat looking reflective) as Walking Taco — as in, ‘I can walk-o, and talk-o, at the same time’).

I’m interested in this as racial commentary … since I couldn’t find another black face in the 38 other pics in the Rick Perry/Iowa State Fair photo gallery.

Not working? No room on the bus?

Is Chip, the Getty photog, just looking for novelty, or in the wake of the midterm scratch-and-claw-fest, then Tucson, is the unvarnished message here that campaigns are largely gestural, and candidates largely indistinguishable … when it comes to the words?
