Bag’s Take-Away:
More evidence of Romney/Ryan running on nostalgia as The National Review goes for a WPA theme.

I think this is true and I still don’t understand why corporate interests, which promote right wing causes all over the U.S., still penalize women for having the children they want her to have.

Bag’s Take-Away:
Why is Wonderboy looking down on this Bloomberg cover? Maybe looking for the share price of Facebook? It fell 13% yesterday.

From “Blown Covers: New Yorker Covers You Were Never Mean to See.” The first cover ran in mid-March of this year. The outcome of the Michigan primary led editors to go with Romney driving rather than riding.
But we think artist Bob Staake’s first version works pretty well if you put Axelrod behind the wheel.

The New York Times Magazine asks a Bain Capital executive for his rationale on the validity of the 1%. The outcome is predictable. So is the clever visual assertion, via the faceless workers (that’s you and me, bub), that we owe our jobs to the creative powers of our financial betters.
And, frankly, where would we be without a shoe to shine?

Ah the 1% and the wannabee 1% (that might be everyone)…. Bloomberg Businessweek has a How-To cover for you!
Learn to captain a small boat, buy a dinosaur, give money away, build a 30-story hotel, take a punch…er, wait…seriously? Maybe taking a punch is part and parcel of the 1% moniker these days.
Those 99% are just jealous.
