Lots of journalistic infighting going on over The Sunday New York Times story on Ann Romney’s dressage hobby. No one used this photo from the Donald Trump hosted birthday party for Ann Romney in April, but why not? Maybe the hobby, like the friend who had the cake made, have become a bit expensive for Mrs. Romney?

The cake, created by celebrity chef Buddy Valastro, of the TV show “Cake Boss,” is topped with a sugar-coated Romney riding atop a horse standing in a field of green frosting. Romney is an avid horseback rider and often goes riding to soothe the symptoms of her multiple sclerosis.)

Romney poses in front of Solyndra, the solar energy company that went under after receiving millions in federal loan guarantees in an attack on President Obama’s management of the economy.
Whether outshone in the news cycle by portrait unveilings and verdicts, the story has no political traction or there’s no real visual hook there, photographer Jim Wilson captures Mitt, playing for soundbites, upstaged by a building.

Remember blind Chinese dissident Chen Guangchen? Romney used his departure from the U.S. embassy in Beijing to declare a day of shame for the United States because the U.S. was too busy planning the Clinton/Geithner talks to keep him safe? Here he is with his family in Central Park.
Looking pretty safe to me.

He was joined by his wife and children on the trip out in his wheelchair.)

Dinesh Souza has an anti-Obama film coming out in June. Here’s the trailer.
One of the most memorable shots? A black family fighting over a Monopoly board. On some levels, somewhat perplexing; on all other levels: racist. Because you know his re-election means blacks are going to rule the United States. Just like they have for the past three years.

This is a twofer. The opening frame shows the stiffness. If you watch the video, you also get a good look at his contempt.

Now, if I could only find a copy of the mug shot from his defiant boating weekend.
