AP’s Evan Vucci captures the vibe that is Newt these days. A dying circus.

Can’t say I understand what Newt’s doing to get this reaction, but looking at anything besides the candidates is a relief.

I think Newt Just Endorsed Obama. And then, aside from the cheap feminizing of Mitt with the lips, seems like Romney actually looks (jaw, eyebrows all fleshy) … like Newt!

Well, Gingrich might as well have the South tattooed on his face. The what: At last night debate, Newt received a standing ovation as he reiterated his belief that poor kids should work as janitors in response to Juan Williams’ question asking him if he understood that black people felt such employment would be aimed at them. He’s not going much further, everyone knows that, and to make sure, he’s branded himself with racism. The emblem is the Tea Party of South Carolina logo. Newt addressed the group Monday night.

Norman Rockwell has left the building! At this point, I don’t blame the photogs in Iowa for playing the candidates for fools. It’s retribution for having to take these folks that seriously for that long. Love this one! Newt as a shadow of a real contender with a dash of Grand Dragon thrown in.
