Bag’s Take-Away:
Funny how the photo frames Santorum in the middle of Occupy and Reagan when he’s so far to the right of both.

What’s with the Santorum-is-actually-10-years-younger-than-you-think-he-is business?

On his knees, stained and prayin’. Yes, Santorum’s on a mission.
(photo credit: Tony Cenicola/The New York Times caption: A supporter of Mr. Santorum prayed as they waited for him to appear in Lafayette, La. The outcome of the Alabama and Mississippi primaries strengthened Mr. Santorum’s argument that he should emerge as the final competitor to Mr. Romney)

He’s doing it, his visual co-hort is doing it: everybody’s worried about Newt. Still, doesn’t mean he’s going anywhere.
(photo credit: Josh Haner/The New York Times caption: While Mr. Gingrich has pledged to take his candidacy to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., the primary calendar includes only a handful of remaining Southern states, the only place he has won. Nicole Bengiveno’s GOP primary/racial segregation shot is the smartest, bravest campaign pic I’ve seen all year. The pic may be “overstretching” the metaphor, but the vote was segregated. Mostly white people voted in the South’s GOP primaries yesterday.
(photo credit: Nicole Bengiveno/The New York Times caption: People in Birmingham, Ala., waited to register vehicles at the Jefferson County Courthouse , which was also a polling station. There have been lines at the courthouse since major cuts in the budget.)

So far, Santorum’s wife has stayed below the radar. Photos like this, however, and her influence on him, start to open up the subject.

Did you know Santorum was “Made in America”? Does he mean, as opposed to “Made in Kenya?”
