On secluded Koch/Perelman weekend, campaign’s touristy Twit pic makes it look like Romney went to Iowa St Fair.

Smartest “protest poster/political+economics-op-ed” I’ve seen in some time (even if he wasn’t sandwiched between 2 suits, and also situated like the church caller).(photo: Emmanuel Dunand/AFP caption: A participant in the Occupy Wall Street demonstrates as finance workers try to get to work around Wall Street, in New York, September 19, 2011. Hundreds of demonstrators took to the street to protest against the US capitalist system.)

I like it because of a.) the round green extraterrestial-looking reflection-of-light bubble-thing targeting Weiner’s left cheek, and b.) how it documents how this poor guy remains a spectacle and target of shame (yeah, it’s Summer) starting off still another week.
(photo: Richard Drew/Associated Press caption: U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D., N.Y.) addressed a news conference in New York, Monday. Mr. Weiner admitted sending sexually suggestive photographs to women online but said he doesn’t plan to resign from Congress because of the scandal.)

Just one more example why the corporate media — and civic consciousness — has gone straight to hell. (…Now, if I could only find a national brand to sponsor these Tumblr posts!)—————
