Bag’s Take-Away:

I’m thoroughly grateful for the way the great Christopher Morris captured post-9/11 and “War on Terror” America. To be honest, though, I’m not sure he exactly nailed Campaign ‘12. If you take a look at his at “On the Road” slideshow
 at TIME, I see it expressing a little more of the anxiety, pensiveness and “Stepford USA” of the Bush campaigns. 

Nevertheless, this one photo is smashing. I’m not sure if I’ve seen a better take on Romney, the Two America, and how thoroughly disconnected the man demonstrated himself to be from Main Street than this photo taken the day of his sham “non-campaign” hurricane food drive.

But, why post this now, Campaign 12 already consigned to the history books? Because of the challenge of keeping focus on the disconnect as we launch ahead.
